HVAP Engineering Supervisor – Moorgate – £65,000 + Package

Introduction:
A leading building services provider is seeking a hands-on HVAP Engineering Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at a high-end corporate office site in Moorgate. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a technically strong site, manage a small team, and work closely with senior FM stakeholders.

Role Overview:
You’ll lead a team of 4 engineers, ensure compliance and smooth delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance, and act as the site’s HV Authorised Person. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer ready to step up or a current supervisor looking for a more prestigious site.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all M&E maintenance tasks across the site (mechanical & electrical)

*

Act as HVAP – manage and carry out HV/LV switching operations

*

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 4 engineers

*

Maintain and enforce health & safety compliance and permit-to-work systems

*

Carry out audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments

*

Liaise with the client and manage service delivery to agreed SLAs

*

Support with hands-on maintenance where required

*

Ensure CAFM system is accurately updated and work is completed to standard

*

Manage subcontractors and specialist vendors when on site

*

Participate in on-call ROTA as required

Qualifications:

*

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

*

18th Edition (if electrically biased)

*

Valid HV Authorisation (essential)

*

Strong building services background (critical environment experience preferred)

*

Prior supervisory or lead engineer experience

*

Excellent communication and team leadership skills

£65,000 basic salary

Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm
