Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department in delivering exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services, mainly within commercial environments. This role involves managing a team of engineers, ensuring quality standards, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the HVAC service team
* Schedule and support technicians to meet service demands
* Hire, train, and develop HVAC engineers
* Monitor and improve service quality and safety
* Conduct performance reviews and set improvement goals
* Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
* Coordinate with dispatch, suppliers, and other departments
* Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance
* Track budgets, invoices, and service profitability
* Promote maintenance agreements and generate service quotes
* Lead larger installation and commissioning projects
Requirements:
* Strong background in HVAC service and team management
* Excellent customer service and leadership skills
* In-depth knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
* Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
* Familiar with health & safety, codes, and regulations
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and job-related software
* Full UK driver’s license and clean driving record
* Willing to work flexible hours as needed
