Job Title: HVAC Engineer for Local Authority Projects



Location: Wolverhampton



Salary: �40,000 per annum + Vehicle + Overtime



Type: Permanent, Full-time



My client is aleading M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) contractor specialising in providing innovative solutions for various projects. With a focus on quality and efficiency, we have built a reputation for excellence in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team and work on local authority projects for the council. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with relevant qualifications and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for local authority projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate project activities and meet project deadlines.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and apprentices as needed.

  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.



Requirements:




  • Relevant qualifications in HVAC engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience working as an HVAC engineer, preferably in a similar role within the construction industry.

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Full driving license.
