Job Description HR Assistant Job Overview\n\nA well-established manufacturing business is seeking an HR Assistant to support its busy HR and Payroll function based in South Wales (commutable from Cardiff, Newport, and surrounding areas). This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for HR administration and employee relations to develop within a supportive team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide administrative support to the HR Manager, Training Manager, and Payroll team\nMonitor and report on employee absence\nSupport the onboarding process for new starters\nEnsure payroll changes and amendments are accurately processed\nTrack probationary periods and issue relevant documentation\nAdd new starters to the HR system (HRIS)\nDraft offer letters, contracts, and general HR correspondence\nMinute meetings including disciplinaries, grievances, and welfare reviews\nCo-ordinate HR meetings and manage diaries\nMaintain and update employee records \n\nHR Assistant Job Requirements\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication\nStrong IT skills\nHigh attention to detail\nCollaborative team player\nExperience in a HR Assistant or similar role would be beneficial\nCIPD Level 3 or working towards is desirable but not essential \n\nHR Assistant Salary & Benefits\n\n£2...
