Job DescriptionBased in London, as HR Advisor, Europe, you will act as the trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders for all operational topics across France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Denmark.You will be playing a big part in actively shaping the culture of Control Risks by providing the best service to our people.Tasks and Responsibilities:HR AdministrationYou will be responsible for delivering core HR processes and providing an accurate and timely HR administration service across the employee lifecycle.Generalist HR Advice and GuidanceYou will work closely with the EMEA HR team and the Global HR Centres of Excellence to ensure a streamlined service is delivered to the business.Build effective working relationships with employees at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice.Build relationships with managers at all levels and develop a good understanding of their work to be able to act as a true business partner.Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation in each jurisdiction.Act as case manager for incoming employee relations issues, escalating where necessary to the HR Director.Support the business to implement business change initiatives in their areas.Provide support on contractual and employment issues in all European offices.Coach managers on performance management and sensitive employment matters, such as performance improvement plans.Manage and coordinate health and welfare cases including maternity leave and long-term absence, liaising with the employees, HR team and Reward team as appropriate.ComplianceBe accountable for ensuring accurate employee data in all core HR Systems ensuring updates are made in a timely manner.Respond to compliance matters and internal/external audits.HR ProjectsOwn and deliver assigned projects and priorities in line with deadlines as agreed with the HR Operations Director and provide pro-active support with ad-hoc tasks where necessary.RequirementsEssentialKnowledge of German and Spanish labour law (and additional European countries advantageous)Extensive administrative experience within a Human Resources function Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordExperience of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholdersExcellent English and German language skills (spoken and written)Prepared for occasional travel to our European officesPreferred Experience of working within a professional services environmentBenefitsControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package.We operate a discretionary global bonus scheme that incentivises, and rewards individuals based on company and individual performance.Control Risks supports hybrid working arrangements, wherever possible, that emphasise the value of in-person time together - in the office and with our clients - while continuing to support flexible and remote working.As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.
