Job Description

We have an urgent requirement for a Housing Officer (Level 2) to join our clients, a large housing association.
This role involves supporting residents, managing tenancy issues, and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and is working the patch covering Brent. 
This is a Temporary role for a minimum of 4 months with potential to be extended and moved internally to another manager once the cover role is complete paying:

  • £20.84 ph PAYE
  • £27.56 ph Umbrella
Your Role:
  • Be the first point of contact for residents, assisting with tenancy-related enquiries.
  • Carry out regular property inspections, ensuring homes meet housing standards.
  • Investigate tenancy breaches, such as anti-social behaviour and rent arrears.
  • Work closely with external agencies, providing support services to residents.
  • Ensure all tenancy agreements comply with current housing regulations.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including maintenance and housing management.
  • Provide advice on financial support, helping tenants manage rent payments.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in housing management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of UK housing legislation and tenancy agreements.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for case management and reporting.
