Role - HOUSING MANAGER - c£45,000 + Benefits

* MUST HAVE HOUSING SECTOR EXPERIENCE
Our client is a leader in their field and are now looking for an experienced Housing Manager who will be responsible to the Director of Housing and Support for providing excellent delivery of housing & tenancy services, including allocations, rent arrears prevention and recovery, tenancy management and tackling anti-social behaviour. You will manage a small team of housing officers.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure that tenancy services comply with best practice, the law and the regulatory framework and that all relevant policies, procedures, processes and administrative systems are regularly reviewed and updated.
* Manage day to day tenancy services expenditure in line with budget.
* Manage, develop and support the Housing Officers
* Ensure the team provides an effective, high quality, customer focussed service including:
* o Allocations, tenancy move-ons and transfers
* o Nominations to the Veterans Nominations Scheme
* o Rent collection and arrears management
* o Housing Benefit information and advice
* o Resident engagement
* o Enforcement of tenancy conditions
* o Dealing with neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour
* o Tenancy sustainment and support
