Housekeeping Assistant - Part-Time

At CrossReach, we believe a tidy space can bring real comfort and dignity and we’re looking for a thoughtful and caring Housekeeping Assistant to help make that happen every day.
Whether it’s making someone’s room feel fresh and homely, supporting a colleague with shared tasks, or helping keep our communal areas safe and spotless, you’ll play a vital role in helping others feel cared for.
What you’ll be doing:
Keeping all areas of the service clean, hygienic and welcoming
Assisting residents with their personal spaces, respectfully and sensitively
Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
Using cleaning equipment and products safely (training provided)
Attending team meetings and taking part in training
Supporting the smooth running of the unit as directed by senior staff
Working on a rota system, which may include evenings and weekends
What you’ll bring:
A warm approach and a steady, caring presence
Good attention to detail and pride in a job well done
Team spirit and a willingness to lend a hand wherever needed
Basic IT skills (for occasional online training or record keeping)
No prior experience needed if you’ve worked in hospitality, cleaning, retail or simply love keeping things shipshape, we’d love to hear from you
