Hotel General Manager

M&T Hotel Management are now recruiting for a General Manager for the Hampton by Hilton Torquay.
Opened in 2022, this exciting hotel in the centre of the regenerated area of Torwood Street, just a stones throw from Torquay harbour. The hotel is part of a mixed-use development including office and food and drink units, acting as a hub for business and leisure guests. The hotel boasts over 130 bedrooms, fitness centre, meeting and event space and spacious restaurant and bar facilities.
The General Manager leads the team from the front, managing overall hotel targets, delivering excellent guest experience and maintaining profitability.
Specifically, the General Manager is expected to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Manage ongoing profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met
Lead with integrity, nurturing and developing a happy, engaged, high performing team
Lead in all key property issues including capital projects and customer service
Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hoteland the owners
