Simply Education is looking to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a fantastic junior school in the Colchester area, starting in September. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school community where high expectations and pupil development are at the heart of everything they do.

The role involves working across Key Stage 2, delivering interventions, supporting class teaching, and leading whole-class learning when required. The successful candidate will be confident, capable, and committed to helping pupils reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or have significant relevant experience in a HLTA role
• Have strong experience supporting across Key Stage 2
• Be confident leading groups and covering classes when needed
• Be proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for education
