We are currently seeking a dynamic History Teacher to join a school in Cumbria immediately on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 teaching experience would be an advantage.
Utilise strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
Demonstrate reliability, commitment, and the qualities of a good role model including compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and contribute to the school’s objectives.
Maintain high standards of education and uphold the school’s principles and values.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Recent relevant experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 is advantageous.
