Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:30

About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run plant hire business in Norfolk.
They are now seeking a Hire Controller to join their friendly and knowledgeable team. This is a key position within a fast-paced and dynamic hire desk environment – perfect for someone who thrives on customer interaction and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries (via phone, email, and in person)

Advising customers on appropriate hire solutions and taking hire/off-hire orders
*
Coordinating with internal teams to ensure equipment availability and scheduling
*
Managing logistics and transport planning for deliveries and collections
*
Updating and maintaining records in the internal CRM system
*
Maximising fleet utilisation and hire revenue
*
Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
