Due to our clients continued expansion, we're looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join their dynamic and supportive team based in Altens. 🔧 What You'll Do:

• Perform routine inspections and MOT preparations

• Diagnose issues using manufacturer diagnostic software

• Handle tacho calibrations and attend vehicle breakdowns

• Conduct general maintenance on trucks and vans

• Complete engine and gearbox overhauls

• Ensure all work meets our high dealer standards

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures

• Skilled in fault diagnosis and use of diagnostic equipment

• Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software

• Relevant certifications preferred (but not essential)

• A meticulous approach and strong problem-solving skills
