Due to our clients continued expansion, we're looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join their dynamic and supportive team based in Altens. 🔧 What You'll Do:
Perform routine inspections and MOT preparations
Diagnose issues using manufacturer diagnostic software
Handle tacho calibrations and attend vehicle breakdowns
Conduct general maintenance on trucks and vans
Complete engine and gearbox overhauls
Ensure all work meets our high dealer standards

✅ What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
Skilled in fault diagnosis and use of diagnostic equipment
Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software
Relevant certifications preferred (but not essential)
A meticulous approach and strong problem-solving skills
