HGV Driver / Yard Man Required
We are a leading RC Frame and groundworks contractor based in West London, and we’re currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver who can also take charge of our yard operations.
This dual-role is ideal for a hands-on individual, You’ll play a key part in supporting our site teams and ensuring the smooth running of plant, equipment, and deliveries across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate HGV vehicles to transport plant, materials, and equipment between sites
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the yard, including loading/unloading, stock control, and cleanliness
* Liaise with site teams to coordinate deliveries and collections
* Carry out regular inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment
* Ensure all yard and transport operations are conducted in line with health & safety regulations
* Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries, and vehicle checks
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – Class 1 (C+E) preferred
* Good knowledge of health & safety standards
* Reliable, proactive, and well-organised
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a busy environment
