Hgv Class 2 Hiab Driver

Kenect Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced HIAB Driver to join our client based in London Colney. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled driver to move from a temporary role into a full-time permanent position.

Location: London Colney
Salary: £39,000 – £41,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm

Start Date:

Tuesday, 14th May 2025 – Starting with one day, with days gradually increasing to a full 5-day work week upon agreement

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete safe and timely multi-drop deliveries (3–4 drops per day) using a HIAB-equipped vehicle

* Load and unload building materials using the crane, following all safety protocols

* Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle

* Ensure all delivery documentation and paperwork is completed accurately

* Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point, representing the client professionally

* Plan routes efficiently to maximize delivery performance and time management

* Liaise with the transport team to ensure smooth delivery schedules and respond to changes as needed

* Adhere to all road traffic laws and health & safety guidelines

What We're Looking For:

* Valid HIAB license is essential

* Strong experience in multi-drop delivery and operating HIAB equipment

* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset

* Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
