Empowered Personnel is recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join a trusted and well established logistics partner to Amazon based in Melton Mowbray (LE14) This HGV Class 1 Tramper role based in Melton Mowbray LE14 is ideal for drivers based in Leicester, Nottingham, Loughborough, Grantham, or surrounding areas.

What the HGV Class 1 Tramper Drive Involves:

• Driving modern, well-maintained Class 1 vehicles (predominantly box trailers)
• Tramping: typically 5 to 6 nights out per week with a well-planned schedule
• Completing nationwide trailer swaps between Amazon RDCs – no multi-drop
• No manual handling or handball – all work is clean and straightforward
• Using the Amazon Relay app for assignments – full training provided via smartphone
• Regular and consistent routes – minimal waiting times due to streamlined RDC processes
• Representing both Empowered Personnel and the client to a high professional standard

HGV Class 1 Tramper Drive Requirement:

• Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Valid CPC and Tachograph cards
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR or IN convictions)
