Job Title: HGV Class 1 Night Driver
Location: Preston
Salary: £16 per hour PAYE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Nights Start times between 18:00 - 21:00 Monday to Friday
Job Description:
We are currently seeking 5 HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our team at a respected and growing logistics provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, professional drivers who are looking for consistent night work with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
Trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries
Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all DVSA regulations
Accurate completion of paperwork and use of tachograph
Communicating effectively with transport planners and other team members
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
A good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
A flexible and professional attitude
