HGV Class 1 Lowloader Driver - Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 driver with experience operating lowloader vehicles?
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to operate a lowloader, transporting various types of loads safely and efficiently.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with overtime available.
Pay Rate: £18 per hour
Vehicle: HGV Class 1 with lowloader trailer
Immediate Start
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a lowloader trailer.
Transporting goods and equipment to various destinations, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
Securing loads correctly and ensuring they are transported safely.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Maneuvering and positioning the lowloader for loading and unloading in potentially tight spaces.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
Proven experience operating lowloader vehicles.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital tachograph card.
Ability to secure loads safely and correctly.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Forklift license or experience (desired)
