Are you experienced in maintenance surveying, with a detailed knowledge of the legal disrepair process? If We have a great opportunity that has arisen for a Heating Surveyor to join our welcoming and dedicated Heating Compliance Team.
The purpose of this role is to carry out compliance related property inspections covering our whole stock portfolio. It also involves being heavily involved in the preparation and delivery of compliance related investment works. In addition, you will undertake a variety of on-site and office-based activities that help support the delivery of our Asset Compliance Management Plans. There is also some project management and financial responsibility for this role.
Youll be based out of our office in Sittingbourne Kent, with the option of working in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your line manager.
For this role you will need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
What youll need
Youll be competent in Domestic and commercial heating systems e.g., District heating systems, Combined Heat and Power, Heat Interface Units, and heat metering.
Knowledge of The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and The Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure.
A proven understanding of current building regulations and Approved Codes of practice.
A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and the ability to use handheld technology to enter survey data.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing with the ability to produce good quality written technical reports.
Youll be a self-starter with the ability to organise and execute your own workloads.
