Role: Health and Social Care Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join a highly regarded mixed secondary school in Bedfordshire, starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Health and Social Care to students at KS4 and KS5 levels within a supportive, well-resourced department. The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and qualified overseas candidates with QTS.

Your Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to students in KS4 and KS5.
• Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and achievement.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Support student progress through constructive feedback and tailored academic guidance.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and school-wide activities.

Experience and Qualifications:
• A degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification with QTS.
• Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4–KS5 (including PGCE placements).
• Applications from ECTs and qualified overseas teachers are welcomed.
