We are looking for an experienced Head of Presales Consultancy to join our Growth Team.The Head of Presales Consultancy is there to provide leadership to the Presales Consultancy and Service Architecture team, which has a key role in driving growth in Capita Public Services, supporting our sales teams in leading the development of compelling, innovative, cost competitive and repeatable proposals that leverage Capita’s capability, providing input and support to broader opportunities.The Head of Presales Consultancy will lead by example in a customer facing role, providing leadership and ensuring delivery across a focused presales team to deliver quality customer focused solutions that beat our competition and exceed our customers’ expectations.For this role, you will need to be flexible, able to travel, and stay away from home when required.Job title:Head of Presales ConsultancyJob Description: What you’ll be doing: directly manage the presales team, ensuring performance and quality align with growth goals, meeting timescales, and completing pricing and technical designs.lead by example, support the broader team through effective leadership, and work directly on customer opportunities, attending meetings and developing responses to their needs.primarily deliver net new external business for CPS, while also considering major internal Capita opportunities.lead bids as a solution and service architect, assuring proposal quality for all formal bids.drive innovation in customer approaches and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to create a comprehensive knowledgebase for pre-sales and sales.champion service management processes within Capita IT Services, aligned with ITIL frameworks and ISO2000. What we’re looking for: a proven leadership capability with the ability to inspire teamsextensive experience of delivering service management solutions and proposals to address complex opportunities be able to evidence experience of defining and delivering multi-technology, innovative, cost competitive and repeatable solutions, ensuring solutions comply with security and data protection requirements demonstrable skills in understanding the needs of organisations and designing and delivering compelling solutions to address themstrong understanding of Capita service delivery and support, along with demonstrable knowledge of the ITIL framework, acting as ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for the IT businessITIL Foundation or ITIL v3/v4 Expert and ISO/IEC 20000 consultant qualifications as well as leadership and Management certifications, such as ILM are desirableAbout Capita Growth:Our Growth (Group Sales) Function is one of Capita’s central corporate functions and is redesigning how we do business.
