We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Indirect Procurement to lead and manage all aspects of indirect spend across our organisation. This pivotal role will ensure the efficient procurement of non-production goods and services-including IT, marketing, professional services, facilities, and logistics-driving value, efficiency, and innovation in alignment with our corporate goals.

As a senior leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping our procurement strategy, enhancing supplier relationships, ensuring cost optimisation, and championing sustainable sourcing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Execution

Define and implement the indirect procurement strategy aligned with organisational objectives and global best practices.

Drive category management excellence across all areas of indirect spend.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Supplier Relationship Management

Build and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners.

Oversee supplier performance, negotiation of contracts, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements.

Cost Optimisation & Value Creation

Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.

Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) thinking across categories.

Process Improvement & Governance

Establish robust procurement policies, processes, and systems.

Ensure procurement activities comply with internal controls, ethics, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Marketing, Operations) to understand business needs and deliver procurement solutions.

Influence senior leaders on procurement value and opportunities.

Sustainability & Risk Management

Champion ESG initiatives in the supply chain, focusing on sustainable and ethical sourcing.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).

Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) strongly desirable.

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing indirect categories.

Strong experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or distribution sectors preferred.

Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement transformation.
