Responsibilities

* You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the department, curriculum development, line management of staff, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning in Geography across all key stages.

* The role involves being an experienced and inspiring Geography teacher with a proven track record of leadership and raising student achievement.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Geography is essential.

* Significant experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, including leadership responsibilities, is essential.

* A deep and current understanding of the Geography curriculum and a passion for the subject are expected.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are vital.
