Job Outline:
My client, who is a leader in the world of Electronic Test & Measurement, now seeks a Head of Electronics to join their growing team.
Based within commuting distance of my client’s facility close to Nottingham and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for, and lead, on all technical aspects of electronic manufacturing.
As the Head of Electronics, you will provide technical expertise, leadership and mentorship to a small team across Electronics, Calibration, Quality and Service.
You will be the technical expert for any electronic, calibration and quality issues across my client manufacturing group, and as such it is expected that you will have strong electronic test, calibration and fault-finding skills.
You will also manage and develop my client’s calibration team. This will include gaining ISO17025 accreditation, setting up a new calibration lab that meets the requirements of improved accreditation, whilst improving calibration through put.
In addition, you will also manage all aspects of quality including maintaining ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation and improving day to day quality particularly through staff training.
