Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)
We are currently working with a highly regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Havering to recruit an exceptional Head of History for a September 2025 start. The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of the History department
Ensure high-quality teaching and learning throughout the subject
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and progress tracking
Foster a love of History through creative teaching and enrichment opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong track record in delivering outstanding History lessons
Previous experience in a leadership role or ready to take the next step
A strong understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
