Blair West is partnering with RS Industrial as they search for a Business Development Manager. RS Industrial specializes in servicing, repairing, and maintaining cranes and machinery. This position plays a pivotal role in driving the business's growth and expansion.You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential customers and promoting our comprehensive suite of cranes and lifting products and services. The opportunity: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our market presence and increase revenue within the designated territory.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, preferences and challenges.Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions to address customer requirements.Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional materials, presentations and campaigns to showcase our products and services.Prepare and present proposals, quotations and contract negotiations in collaboration with the sales team.Monitor sales activities, track performance metrics and provide regular reports on sales forecasts, market trends and competitive analysis. You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have: A demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Proven experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably within the crane and lifting industry.A results-driven and goal-oriented mindset.A strong understanding of crane and lifting equipment products, applications and market dynamics (desirable).Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
