Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on and experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing embedded control systems across multiple product lines, contributing to the development of new equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least two years of experience in embedded systems design.

Job Purpose:

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will work on embedded systems, FPGA design, and hardware development. You will be responsible for designing and debugging digital and analogue circuits, developing low-level drivers, and interfacing with sensors and motors.

Key Responsibilities:

Embedded Systems:

Work with STM 32 and PIC 18 controllers.
Develop embedded firmware in C/C++.
Develop low-level drivers and interface with sensors and motors.FPGA Design:

Program VHDL and integrate IP for Xilinx and Microsemi FPGA devices.
Develop drivers for memory and communication interfaces.Hardware Design:

Design digital and analogue circuits, with mixed signal multilayer PCB design.
Simulate circuits and debug prototype hardware.
Work on battery-operated low-power systems and interface with sensors and DC motors.Communication Protocols:
