Overview

The Flavour Network are recruiting for a Handyman (Woman / Person) / Warehouse & FLT Driver for a food manufacturing business in Leicester. Our client has recently moved into a larger facility, and to support their expansion, they are seeking a reliable and proactive Handyman / Warehouse Operative who holds an in-date FLT license.  This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who is practical, organised, and enjoys a mix of maintenance and warehouse responsibilities. As the successful candidate you will play a key role in supporting both the functionality of the site through general upkeep and repairs, as well as assisting in daily warehouse operations such as receiving deliveries, managing stock, and operating a forklift (Counterbalance). Handyman / Maintenance Duties:

• Carrying out minor repairs and general handyman tasks


• Installing shelving, notice boards, or basic fixtures


• Assisting with the organisation and upkeep of the workspace

Warehouse Operations:

• Receiving and sorting deliveries


• Ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently


• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment


• Operating a forklift to move pallets and goods (FLT Counterbalance licence required)

Requirements for the Handyman / Warehouse Operative

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a practical, hands-on environment


• Valid FLT licence and experience operating a forklift – Counterbalance


• Good organisational skills and attention to detail


• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative


• Reliable and committed, with a strong work ethic
