For finance professionals aiming for career advancement, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company.The chosen candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for developing and overseeing the Finance function. This multifaceted position involves overseeing the production of management accounts, month-end processes, and financial reporting.Responsibilities of the Group Management Accountant will include, but will not be limited to:Prepare consolidated Group Management Accounts monthly and review subsidiary companies' Management AccountsReview key P&L and balance sheet items for annual/interim reportsPrepare and review month-end board packs for a timely month-end close by the 15thImplement new financial controls, ensure statutory reporting completionManage day-to-day accounting, establish month-end processesReconcile monthly Invoice Finance Facility and Debtor BalancesForecast cash flow, provide Daily Cash flow analysis for DirectorsPrepare and review monthly PAYE submissions, reconciliationsReview quarterly VAT Returns for Group entitiesCoordinate with auditors, third-party advisors for tax returnsManage all yearly and monthly Tax submissionsCalculate and prepare Monthly Staff Salaries for smaller companiesBuild, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Assistants and 2 business analystsProvide support to the Finance Team as neededThe successful Group Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:Previous involvement in Medical Recruitment is advantageousDemonstrated proficiency in team managementProficient system skills, preferably with Sage 50 and Merit Software, although not mandatoryComprehensive understanding of internal financial control objectives and operationsAptitude for swiftly establishing relationships with external and internal stakeholders across all levels with assuranceTrack record in overseeing finance projects/implementationsYou are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
