Groundsman / Park Ranger / Maintenance Manager / Handyman

Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to join a team as a Groundsman / Park Ranger / Maintenance Manager / Handyman. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of events venues and associated facilities. The successful candidate will work across Events, Agricultural, Game and Wildlife, and Property departments, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment.
Duties Include:
Building and Facilities Maintenance:
- Perform a variety of building maintenance tasks, including painting, repairing plumbing fixtures, general carpentry, and conducting routine inspections.- Ensure the upkeep and functionality of various interesting buildings and structures within the estate.- Assist with moving furniture, setting up and dismantling event setups, and other logistical tasks as required.- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on boilers and other mechanical equipment.- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, ensuring all areas are well-lit and safe.- Handle minor renovations and refurbishments to enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of the estate's buildings.- Order replacement parts, furniture, and other necessary supplies to ensure continuous maintenance and functionality.- Liaise with third-party contractors for specialised repairs and maintenance tasks.
