Job Title: CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder
📍 Location: Glasgow
🕒 Hours: 37 hours per week, Shift Work (Monday to Friday)
📢 Reports To: Manufacturing Lead

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder to join our clients team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and time-served professional to work with precision engineering components, operating both CNC and manual grinding machines in a dynamic and quality-focused environment.

• Set up and operate manual and CNC grinding machinery (surface and cylindrical)

• Load raw materials and unload finished products

• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain quality output

• Interpret technical drawings and work to exacting customer tolerances

• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, company standards, and documented processes

• Log production activity and report any machine faults or safety issues

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks

• Ensure machines are stocked with appropriate tools and materials to minimize downtime

• Support production requirements during peak demand periods

Qualifications & Experience:

• Time-served Grinder or Engineer

• Proven experience in manual and CNC grinding, especially on Jones & Shipman machines

• Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Demonstrated experience working to high quality standards on precision components

• Solid understanding of manufacturing safety regulations and procedures
