Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth
Pay rate: Up to £600 per week
Start date: September 2025
Are you a recent performing arts graduate with a passion to support the upcoming generation and gain hands on experience working in the education sector?
Horizon Teachers are seeking talented and driven graduates who are seeking experience of teaching and educational practice within a South-west Primary school located in the London Borough of Lambeth. Applicants are welcomed from any subject specialism including Drama, Sport and Creative Arts.

Key responsibilities:
To work with the class teacher in preparing work for the students, putting up displays and assisting as required within the classroom.
To take responsibility for guided reading with students daily, updating reading records, completing the reading progress book fortnightly and monitoring that they are reading books appropriate to their level,
To maintain discipline in accordance with school policies at all times and encourage positive behaviour and approach to school life.
