Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic secondary school environment? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team in a mainstream secondary school in Bromley.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to begin a career in education, whether your long-term goal is teaching, educational psychology, or a similar path. You will support students across a range of subjects and year groups, assisting classroom teachers with learning activities and helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to individual students or small groups in and out of the classroom
Assist teachers with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and student engagement
Help create an inclusive learning environment for all students
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) when required
Contribute to the overall positive ethos and learning culture of the school
Requirements:
A university degree (2:2 or above preferred)
A genuine interest in working with young people
Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential
A proactive, patient, and professional approach
A DBS on the Update Service (essential)
