Role - Graduate Engineering (Summer Placement)

Location: Inverurie
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, Friday 8:30 AM-1:00 PM
Eligibility: Open to graduates or current engineering students

At Major Recruitment Aberdeen we have a great opportunity for an Engineering Support Assistant for a Summer placement for my client based in Inverurie. This will be Monday-Friday role / 37.5 hours per week.

This opportunity will be perfect for someone just graduating university looking for a summer placement or someone who is still studying an Engineering course and looking for a summer placement.

• Support small-scale engineering projects or contribute to larger project teams.

• Draft and issue engineering documents under guidance.

• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties to ensure smooth department operations.

• Engage in project activities including design, draughting, and product testing.

• Maintain awareness of deadlines and communicate delays or changes with your team and manager.

• Liaise with clients and suppliers when required.

• Provide engineering and operational support across the ANSON group.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.

• You'll have the autonomy to select and lead a project, identify required actions, and follow them through-with oversight from your supervisor.

• Stay updated on relevant technologies, tools, and software used within the Production Department.

• Actively engage in any training provided during the placement.
