Haystack Selection is recruiting on behalf of a growing and forward-thinking engineering organisation that provides high-performance solutions across a variety of sectors. Known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and developing engineering talent, they are now looking to recruit a Graduate Engineer to support project delivery, testing, and product development initiatives.
About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working across testing, modelling, certification, and inspection. The role offers structured mentorship and the chance to work with senior engineers on the development and validation of engineering systems and products. You’ll play a key role in supporting both technical delivery and product assessments from materials to final construction.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out testing and simulation of systems and components to assess performance and reliability.
*
Support in the creation of technical documentation including CAD drawings, specifications, and inspection reports.
*
Participate in the certification process to ensure product compliance with relevant standards.
*
Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to support project execution and delivery.
*
Perform inspections and evaluations of engineering materials, assemblies, and construction elements.
*
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering problem-solving.
*
Collaborate with internal teams during the testing phase to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Postgraduate degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*
Excellent technical reporting and documentation capabilities.
*
Familiarity with CAD and engineering design tools.
*
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*
Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and develop professionally.

Excellent annual bonus scheme (17% – 25% of salary = £5,695 – £8,395).
