We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to join the London office of a national consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career with structured professional development, varied project experience, and support towards achieving RICS Chartership.

The Role:
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will work closely with their experienced team to deliver a wide range of building surveying services across different sectors. You will gain hands-on experience in project management, technical due diligence, refurbishment, and maintenance schemes, and will assist in building surveys, feasibility studies, and design work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct building surveys, condition assessments, and defect analysis
Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and contract documents
Support project delivery from inception to completion across a range of sectors
Provide professional advice on property and construction matters
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
Assist with planning applications and building regulations submissions
Support senior surveyors in providing expert advice on conservation and restoration projects
Requirements:

A degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited) with a minimum 2:1 classification
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Commitment to completing your APC and achieving MRICS status
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
