We are currently seeking a skilled Generator Engineer to join our team in a role based within commuting distance to Motherwell. As a Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators and associated electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installing, maintaining, and repairing generators and electrical equipment.
* Conducting regular inspections and performing preventative maintenance on generators.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting generator issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Generator Engineer or similar role.
* Strong electrical knowledge and experience.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license.
Working Hours and Benefits:
* This is a full-time position with a competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* Door-to-door pay for travel time.
* Overtime available
* 25 days holiday per year.
