General Science Teacher

This school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed General Science Teacher to join a dynamic science department. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop critical thinking, curiosity, and a deep understanding of the world around them. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and promote progress

• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with national curriculum expectations

• Encourage scientific enquiry, practical work, and real-world application

• Support the wider science faculty with enrichment and STEM-related activities

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in a science-related subject

• Strong subject knowledge across the three sciences at KS3/4

• A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds

• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills as a General Science Teacher.
