SPARK:YORK CIC is a venue in the heart of York, constructed out of recycled shipping containers and home to some of the very best independent food, drink and retail businesses in Yorkshire.
We incubate these businesses, from complete start-ups, to regional scale-ups, and aim to offer a platform for their exposure and growth.
We also operate SPARK Studios, with a co-working office, maker space and event space for live performances and all manner of other workshops and meetings.

Were looking for a highly organised, people-focused General Manager to lead daily operations at SPARK. This role is hands-on, front-facing, and at the heart of our vibrant venue from open to close.
You'll be the key contact for traders and the operational team, ensuring seamless operations, outstanding guest experiences, and an atmosphere that reflects our community values.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day site operations (opening/closing, cleanliness, security, vibe).
Act as main contact for traders, addressing operational needs swiftly.
