General Foreman

My client are an industry leading civil engineering and construction business. They are looking to onboard a general foreman to help deliver a large scale public realm and highways package.

General foreman responsibilities:

* Lead by example to maintain a safe and productive site environment.

* Oversee day-to-day construction operations across your section.

* Coordinate site labour, subcontractors, materials and plant resources.

* Ensure temporary and permanent works are delivered to design specifications.

* Work closely with engineers to plan and programme tasks.

* Implement and monitor RAMS and permit-to-work systems.

* Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to the team.

* Participate in regular site coordination and discipline meetings.

General foreman requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* CSCS Card.

* SMSTS.

* First aid.

* Proven experience in a general foremans role.

* Full UK driving licence.
