Location: Lancs – Blackpool, Burnley, Blackburn
Client: National Heating Contractor (Local Authority Sector)
Contract Type: Self-Employed
About the Role:
Example Recruitment Group is seeking experienced self-employed heating engineers to join a well-established national heating contractor. You will be working on a service contract with a local housing association, providing landlord gas safety checks.
Key Details:
* Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks
* Commitment: Ideally 5 days per week (minimum 3 days per week considered)
* Contract Length: Temporary
* Payment Terms: Weekly, one week in arrears
* Rate: £23.00 per completed property (71% access rate with average 10+ completed properties per day)
Benefits:

* Weekly Payments: No need to chase invoices
* Flexibility: Monday to Friday, with part-time options (min. 3 days per week)
* Pre-Booked Appointments: All appointments are scheduled via a PDA device

Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of qualified experience as a heating engineer
* ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
* Previous social housing experience
* Own Van and Tools
* Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
* £2m Public Liability Insurance
* Clean DBS Check
