Seasonal Gardener - Local Council Opportunity (Preston Region)

Location: Preston & Surrounding Areas
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 weeks (potential to be extended)
Hours: 42 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Seasonal Gardener to join the grounds maintenance team working with the local council in the Preston area.

This is a hands-on role, with duties including:

Grass cutting, strimming, and general grounds maintenance in parks and cemeteries
Litter picking and keeping the grounds clean and presentable
Repairing and installing park equipment
Use of mechanical digger for digging graves
Assisting with public space upkeep, including planting and maintaining verges and contracted sites What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in grounds or garden maintenance is preferred
A proactive and reliable team player
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standardsInterested?
