Job title: Gardener & Maintenance Assistant (Dual Role) –
Hours: Part-Time / £12.21 hour
Location: Lincolnshire (LN13)

We're recruiting for a part-time Gardener & Maintenance Assistant to join a friendly and supportive care environment where your work will directly impact the well-being and happiness of our residents. About the role:
This is a varied and rewarding position that combines gardening and general maintenance duties. You'll be responsible for keeping the care home’s outdoor areas attractive and safe, as well as handling general maintenance tasks within the building.
Key Responsibilities:
Gardening:
* Maintain lawns, flower beds, pathways, and car parks year-round
* Planting, weeding, pruning, potting, and seasonal upkeep
* Ensure entrances and pathways are safe and debris-free
* Maintain tools and outdoor equipment; keep storage areas tidy
* Engage residents in gardening activities and listen to their ideas for the garden
Maintenance:
* Carry out routine repair and decoration work to a high standard
* Minor plumbing, small electrics, painting, moving and handling
* Liaise with external contractors when necessary
* Perform regular checks such as water temperature monitoring
