Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Garden Maintenance Operative based in London for a well-established landscape design company.

Salary: £24,856 - £28,000 per annum
Location: London and within M25 radius.
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday (Flexible)

Responsibilities of the Garden Maintenance Operative

Provide garden maintenance on a mix of small gardens, courtyards, roof terraces, London squares and large country gardens.
Diagnose and treat problems in plants and keep the disease under control
Work to tight deadlines, whilst keeping to health and safety standards and quality procedures.
Requirements for a successful Garden Maintenance Operative

Full clean UK driving licence
Working knowledge of plants, their requirements and ability to recognise disorders and treat problems
Experience of garden irrigation systems
Ability to use a range of small machinery
Great customer service skills
Minimum level 2 in horticulture
Good communication skills
