FUNCTIONAL ASSESSOR – TAUNTON AREA
July & August Start Dates Available – We Welcome All Notice Periods, Including Immediate Starts
Salary: £39,500 + Annual Salary Reviews & Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week (Part-Time Options Available)
Location: Taunton – TA1 – Hybrid (70% Home-Based & 30% Site-Based)
Strictly for Adult-Registered Healthcare Professionals Based in or Near Taunton (TA1)
Are you a Registered Nurse (Adult), RMN, RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic with at least one year of post-registration experience in adult healthcare? Your Role – PIP and/or WCA Assessor:
PIP Assessments – Understand how a person's condition impacts daily living
WCA Assessments – Evaluate capability to work through evidence-based functional assessments
Use telephone, video, and in-person consultations
Produce clear, objective medical reports for DWP
Flexi-Booking – Control Your Own Schedule After 6 Months:
Gain full diary control after 6 months in post
Book your first case from 8am and your last by 6pm
Work any hours between 8am–8pm , as long as daily targets are achieved
True schedule flexibility for a better work-life balance
What You'll Need:
HCPC or NMC registration
Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in adult healthcare
Strong clinical reasoning, IT proficiency, and communication skills
Suitable professional backgrounds:
Nurses – RGN, RNLD, RMN
AHPs – Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics
