Pertemps is working with a highly respected logistics provider to find a driven, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Freight Administrator to join their growing team. In this exciting, fast-paced role, you’ll manage international air, ocean, and road freight – making sure shipments reach their destinations smoothly, efficiently, and often under strict temperature control.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Freight Administrator:
Handling end-to-end freight forwarding operations (air, sea & road) – from quoting to delivery
Completing all necessary import/export documentation (HAWBs, MAWBs, IATA, HMRC, etc.)
Supporting temperature-sensitive GDP-compliant pharmaceutical shipments
Providing customers with competitive freight quotes and top-notch service
Coordinating with hauliers, couriers, and global partners to arrange collections and deliveries
Negotiating rates with suppliers and ensuring cost-effective solutions
Managing invoicing, supplier bills, and keeping shipments running smoothly
Maintaining key stock like air/ocean waybills and documentationWhat You Bring to the Table: Must-Haves:

Experience in freight forwarding/logistics operations – especially multi-modal transport
Strong understanding of customs processes, inward/outward processing reliefs, and international documentation
Familiarity with HAWBs/MAWBs, IATA regulations, and GDP standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ASM, CHIEF/NCTS systems
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service
Able to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced team
Flexibility to support shift work and occasional on-call needsDesirable (but not essential – we can train you):

Dangerous Goods certification

This is a full time, office based role. Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm, £25,000 - £30,000 DOE.
