Framing Production Operative

Working within a busy production department, at your own workstation, you will be building frames for photographs, using luxury materials and basic hand tools. Experience of basic woodwork or assembly would be advantageous. A standing role you will be expected to be on your feet for the duration of your shift and be able to show a good level of detail when working with the wooden frames to ensure quality of delivered products.

Start: July 2025

Duration: 12 weeks

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge

Hours: 7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday, 7am – 1pm Friday

Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour

Overtime Rates: Anything worked over 40 hours is paid at £14ph including Saturdays. Sundays paid at £15ph

Duties:

* Assembly of wooden frames in line with job specifications

* Use of machine for cutting of wood frames

* Checking the overall quality of frames before dispatch

* Placing the photographs into frames and packing for dispatch

* Housekeeping duties including keeping the workstation clean and tidy

* Work towards team targets on a daily basis

What we need from you:

* Excellent attention to detail

* Previous woodwork or assembly experience is desirable

* Good manual dexterity for handling the photos

* Basic IT skills for using internal software

* Target driven and able to work under pressure during peak periods
