Forklift Operator/Warehouse Technician

Job Description Robert Half are proud to be partnered with a Manufacturing business in Haverhill who require a certified Forklift Driver to join their day team as a Technician on a temporary basis (with a potential of a permanent role in the future). This is an immediate starting role due to sickness cover, and requires those on immediate notice. This is an hourly paid role with a budget of £13-£16 per hour plus holiday pay.

Candidates interested in applying for this role must hold a forklift truck license/proof of training.

Daily responsibilities

-Forklift truck movement of materials
-Shipment of orders on a global basis
-Sampling and labelling of finished products and raw materials
-Dangerous material handling
-Issuing relevant paperwork for loading/unloading of tankers, lorries and containers
-Printing off shipping labels
-Booking material movements in SAP system
-Accurately perform detailed SAP transactions

Experience required:

-Candidates MUST hold up-to-date Forklift truck license
-Experience in handling dangerous goods/chemicals is highly desired
-Experience with SAP systems is considered advantageous
