Forklift Driver – Temporary Cover
Location: PE22
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to provide temporary cover due to an extended illness of a team member. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts to move, load, and unload plants and materials within our nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to move plants and horticultural materials.
Load and unload goods from vehicles.
Perform routine safety checks and maintenance of the forklift.
Keep the nursery organized and ensure safe stacking of products.
Assist in stock control and plant management.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
Valid forklift license and proven experience in a similar role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to safety.
This is a temporary role providing cover from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
